Joe Bryson
Joe Bryson is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter originally from Lafayette, Louisiana. He caught the music bug at age 10 after seeing a rockstar biopic and formed his first band soon after. While in high school, he released his debut single, “She Don’t Really Miss Me,” which has since earned over 1.5 million Spotify streams.
After releasing follow-up tracks like “We Were Made for the Night” and “’Til the Sand Ran Out”, Joe began performing locally—and during this time was diagnosed with stage 3 papillary thyroid cancer that had spread to his lymph nodes . The surgery threatened his voice, but he made a strong recovery and continued building his musical career through college, playing sold-out shows at venues like Baton Rouge’s Varsity Theatre and joining tailgate tours with Old Row, opening for acts like Stop Light Observation and Trinidad James.
In October 2019, he released “Already Love You,” co-written with hitmakers Brock Berryhill and Josh Jenkins, and continued to release music through 2020, including “If I Loved You Then,” which landed on Spotify playlists like New Music Nashville during the pandemic . That summer, he made the move to Nashville in a U‑Haul, determined to chase the next stage of his musical journey.
Joe describes his evolving sound as “kitchen‑sink‑country”—a blend of soul, rock ’n’ roll, and everything but the kitchen sink. Drawing from his faith, Cajun roots, and the trials he’s overcome, he writes songs that aim to heal, uplift, and entertain.
At just in his early twenties, Joe has already faced and conquered more than most—and his story is only beginning. He’s been steadily releasing new music and performing shows with a heartfelt voice shaped by real life—and a dream that’s just warming up.
